There has been a debate going on in the recent years on what counts as the second and third highest summits, particularly when it comes to Oceania. In order to avoid any mistakes the Austrian mountain guide and electrical engineer climbed a total number of 30 peaks in order to determine those 21 Peaks of the TRIPLE SEVEN quest. In Oceania he climbed and measured 6 (!) Peaks (Ngga Pulu, Puncak Trikora, Puncak Mandala, Sumantri, Mt. Townsend and of course Carstensz Pyramid) in elevation just to find out the correct ranking. At the end he followed the list defined by www.peakbagger.com

peakbagger.com

He climbed Rwenzori (Magerita Peak) and Mawenzi in order to exclude any errors concernig the "third highest mountain" quest in africa.
